Hiatus

We've had three straight weeks without any response to challenges, so I'm stopping challenges until season 3 starts.

You can still post your drabbles for any of the prompts, there just won't be any new challenges until the next season.

Week 42

Okay, so another week with no responses. I'm going to keep going until week 45, and if things haven't picked up by then, I'll put the com on hiatus until season 3 starts.

A. Use Corinne Bailey Rae Titles for inspiration.

B. Use the word belong.

C. Use these lyrics for inspiration:
Well in war he was a tiger
When it was over like a dove
He summoned all of his strength in the climb
It suffered all of his strength in the fall

And sometimes when he got into fighting
Man he could fight with you all day long
He was a good man and now he's gone

M. Ward – Requiem

D. Write a missing scene or episode tag for any season 2 episode.

Week 41

So, no entries over the two weeks since challenge 40. And only one entry for challenge 39.
Do you guys have any suggestions for prompts? What would inspire you to write something?

A. Use Faithless Titles for inspiration.

B. Use the word star(s).

C. Use these lyrics for inspiration:
When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Coldplay – Fix you.

D. Write a drabble about someone having an accident.

Week 40

We had a grand total of one entry last week.
There won't be a challenge next week as I'm at the P3 convention in London, and so won't have computer access.

A. Use Yellowcard Titles for inspiration.

B. Use the word perfection.

C. Use these lyrics for inspiration:
I have climbed highest mountain
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
Only to be with you

I have run
I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

U2 - Still haven't found what I'm looking for.

Week 39

Can I just remind everyone about tagging your posts correctly! You need to put both the week (e.g. week 12, week 32 etc), and the prompt (i.e. 'challenge a: song titles', 'challenge b: word of the week', 'challenge c: song lyrics', or 'challenge d: miscellaneous'). Thanks.

A. Use Lost Prophets Titles for inspiration.

B. Use the word shore.

C. Use these lyrics for inspiration:
She said to me, "Go steady on me.
Won't you tell me what the Wise Men said?
When they came down from Heaven,
Smoked nine 'til seven,
All the shit that they could find,
But they couldn't escape from you,
Couldn't be free of you,
And now they know there's no way out,
And they're really sorry now for what they've done,
They were three Wise Men just trying to have some fun."

Look who's alone now,
It's not me. It's not me.
Those three Wise Men,
They've got a semi by the sea.
Got to ask yourself the question,
Where are you now?

Week 38

I did mean to put this up last week, but I completely forgot about it on the Sunday, and then I went up to Edinburgh for New Years Eve. I woke up in the wee hours of Wednesday morning swearing at myself. Sorry to everyone who was expecting the challenge last week :)

A. Use Linkin Park Titles for inspiration.

C. Use these lyrics for inspiration:
Stop being so hard on yourself
It's not good for your health
I know that you can change
So clear your head and come round
You only have to open your eyes
You might just get a big surprise
And it may feel good and you might want to smile, smile, smile.

Don't you let your demons pull you down
'Cause you can have it all, you can have it all.

Take That – Shine.
